Cambodia Snapshots: Beans

Markets here in Cambodia are just so fascinating and colorful. It’s an assault to the senses and I often find myself wandering in each aisle taking photos.

Here’s one snapshot from one stall in Russian Market (Psar Tuol Tompong). They sell all sorts of dry beans, grains and seeds. I just love the colors and I find myself wondering..’what happens if one bag gets knocked off?’! This is where I always buy my mung beans without the outer green shell and also tapioca pearls. Love making desserts with it.

Cambodia Snapshots - Market

This is an entry to my Cambodia Snapshots series as well as to Our World Tuesday.

It’s been awhile. An understatement really. Despite my best intentions to blog more often, well, doing so with a cranky baby is next to impossible. But right now, the little one is almost six months!!! so he’s a little more manageable and I could actually take a breather now.

Hence this update.

Hopefully, I can add more later.
