Cambodia Snapshots: Butterfly and Lemons

Cambodia Snapshots / Saturday, September 3rd, 2011

Not exactly lemons but more like the smaller variety more common in the Philippines. My Khmer husband fell madly in love with kalamansi fruit when we were living in the Philippines so when we got here we searched high and low for kalamansi seedlings. Now we have two big kalamansi trees in our yard. Works well for us coz I do love my lemonade {using kalamansi} and I like putting it on my face. It’s a great oil control cleanser. And I don’t need to buy lemons or tamarind for my husband’s favorite sour soup.

A few weeks ago, we found a pretty big butterfly flapping about the tree, then latch itself on one branch and stayed there for a few minutes. So I got a chance to take snapshots..
