One of the most celebrated ‘holidays’ here in Cambodia is Chinese New Year. It’s not a official holiday but with a large Chinese community, its no wonder, Chinese New Year is even more festive compared to international new year.
Above is a snapshot of decor for Chinese New Year from a local mall. Gotta love the bold red! Makes me feel lucky!
This is also an entry to Our World Tuesday blog meme.
Grander and more festive, indeed! Chinese New Year has been declared a holiday here. That’s Feb. 19, to be exact. I might go to Binondo to join in the celebration! Haha. 🙂
