Living in Phnom Penh: Chilly Weekend

General, Living in Phnom Penh / Sunday, October 31st, 2010

Wohooo! I feel like screaming with delight and I could only do it in FB or here in my blog. If I do that at home, I am at the risk of scaring my neighbors. They already think I’m a weirdo so I don’t wanna risk it anymore haha..

I’m just so happy coz after a soooo hot summer, and the rainy season too was a lot worse compared to last year, were now having that cool, dry weather! I luv it! I can’t help but think of hot chocolates, blankets, a rattan bucket seat with a really cushy cushion (I should really really buy this soon!), an army of book, a pile of good movies, and so on..

It’s holiday too last Friday and on Monday too, so were having a really leisurely weekend. We’ve just been staying home and I had been catching up on a pile of work, with PC games, cooking and eating, watching movies in between. We’re loving it, and it does feel so cozy! I wish Hi-ace was here but he’ll be soon enough.

The only downside of the recent cooling weather is, Chinks caught some virus and has been having on/off fever since Tuesday. Aside from the fever she’s fine and still active and still eats a lot. Thankfully, she didn’t have any higher temp since yesterday evening so hopefully she’ll be back to normal before school starts again on Tuesday.

We still have the whole day tomorrow to relax and enjoy =). On a side note, when I was beginning to write this post, the spelling of ‘chilly’ gave me a pause. I was already typing ‘chili’ instead of ‘chilly’ when I realized oopsie, spelling error! Whaaaaa! My spelling is totally rusty! I should really quit texting and making shortcut out of words. Even Chinks is better than me when it comes to spelling.. Haayy, I’m crazy. I know that much..

Will be posting some updates after Monday.. Chill..
